Two More Additions To Community's CPL Family
Community's CPL family of loudspeakers are now joined by the new CPL26 and CPL28. Both models will make their official debut in mid-June.
The two new CPL models are designed to meet the aesthetic and performance demands of fixed installations ranging from restaurants and nightclubs to auditoriums and houses of worship. Both models, with two-way design, include Community's IntelliSense driver protection and offer highly-controlled directivity and sensitivity rated at 95 dB at one watt/one meter.

The CPL28 and CPL26 areoutfitted with an 8-in low-frequency driver and Community's UC-1 compression driver coupled with a newly-developed, 120-degrees by 60-degrees high frequency horn which can be rotated 90 degrees to facilitate either vertical or horizontal mounting.

While the frequency response of the CPL28 extends from 40 to 20,000 Hz, the CPL26 ranges from 50 to 20,000 Hz. At eight ohms, both are capable of posting power handling figures of 250 watts RMS/600 watts program, and are additionally offered with a 70V/100V transformer option.
Other shared features include a rear panel equipped with barrier-strip and professional-grade interlocking connectors. Available finished in either white or black (with appropriately matching perforated steel grilles), CPL26/28 enclosures are constructed of 3/4-in MDF board. Threaded 1/4-20 inserts found on both models are also provided for rigging purposes.
The suggested retail price for the CPL26 is under $800 USD, while the CPL28 will list for under $900 USD.
