New CobraCAD Version 1.01 Software Available For Download

Peak Audio has just posted Version 1.01 of CobraCAD on its website, available to contractors and consultants for download at no charge.

Peak explains that Version 1.01 contains a few new Ethernet switch devices and addresses some of the Design Check bugs discovered since the release of Version 1.0. As a result, they strongly recommend upgrading to the new version.

CobraCAD provides a simple graphic user interface for design, configuration and monitoring of CobraNet networks. By making CobraNet networks easy to design, implement and diagnose, much of the difficulty in building distributed audio systems is eliminated.

CobraCAD offers on-screen visualization of the audio and Ethernet connections throughout the entire network. The software enables the user to dynamically build a system on-screen, perform design rule checking to catch errors, and automatically assign network bundle numbers.

Drivers and symbols for all CobraNet equipped products will be available for use within CobraCAD.
