AKG’s new C 477 WR is a lightweight headset version of the CK 77 WR and offering water- and perspiration-resistant reliability. It is designed for applications requiring mic placement close to the mouth to maximize gain before feedback.
It uses a flexible band of steel tubing around the user’s neck that can be conformed to achieve the most comfortable fit, effectively creating a custom fit. In addition, it comes in two versions, left or right side use, and telescopes from the rear of the headband for further customization.
The C 477 WR has a dual diaphragm transducer with hermetically sealed capsule. Addition foil drip right offers further moisture protection. It is available with stripped and tinned leads or with a Switchcraft connector, and comes in either black or flesh-tone color.
