The NSCA Education Foundation appointed three new Board members during its Board of Directors meeting on March 8 at the NSCA Expo. The new board members are Mark Dundas, United Communication Technologies, Sandy LaMantia, Shure Corporation and Loyd Ivey, Mitek Corporation/Atlas Sound.
“The Foundation is pleased to welcome such strong leadership,” said Per Haugen, Education Foundation Executive Director. “Their vision, motivation and leadership skills will enable the Foundation to carry out its mission of advancing the electronic systems industry and sustaining career development and growth.”
Mark Dundas is the owner of United Communication Technology, Inc. and Tech Works, both located in Corona, California. The company has been in operation since 1984 and specializes in access control, burglar alarm, CCTV, data cabling, paging, sound masking, telephone, media retrieval and others.
Sandy LaMantia is the President and CEO of Shure Incorporated headquartered in Evanston, Illinois. Some of the products manufactured by Shure include: wired microphones, wireless systems, mixers and audio processors, personal monitors, phonograph cartridges, accessories and replacements.
Lloyd Ivey is the Chairman and CEO of Atlas Sound, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The company started in 1935 and currently specializes in audio/video residential, business music, intercom, paging, sound masking and sound systems.
The three new board members join existing Foundation board members: Per Haugen, General Communications, Inc.; Craig Thompson, Thompson Electronics; and Miriam Evaslin, Pro-Tec Electronics.
