Rules for posting to ProSoundWeb.com Marketplace
- Classifieds are for used equipment, or employment opportunities only. The ads can also be used to located consultants or contractors in your area. You may also want to check the ProSoundWeb.com White Pages.
- The classifieds are to be used for end users, or contractors, consultants and installers, looking to sell or turn over used, or excess inventory from sound contracting jobs. It can also be used by people looking for used audio equipment. We also encourage those that have positions to fill, (eg. jobs, to post to the board as well. In other words use it as Help Wanted, or if you are looking for a job.
It is not to be used by companies engaging in used audio equipment as a primary business, only for full service contractors, installers and consultants. That means if you have a pro audio retail operation, and sell used gear as part of that operation, you MAY NOTuse the free classifieds. You will need to purchase advertising on the board.
- What to include in posts
- Please include your full name, phone and email address in the text of your post. Also include items you wish to list, and the price. Other descriptions might be helpful, such as condition and age fo the equipment.
If you are posting an ad offering employment, be sure to list the qualifications and the contact info. Listing the amount of compensation is NOT required in the ad, but if you feel so inclined, then it's OK to post the rate of pay.
- The buyer and seller are responsible for their own transactions.
- Agreements reached between any parties are the responsibility of the persons conducting the transaction.
