TEF Intelligibility Workshop Slated For Chicago, October 11-13

The TEF Division of Gold Line, in conjunction with Jim Brown of Audio Systems Group and Ron Steinberg of RC Communications, will be presenting a TEF Level II Workshop on Intelligibility. The workshop will be held October 11-13 in Chicago.
The workshop will be led by a teaching staff that includes Professor Doug Jones, Chairman of the Audio Dept at Columbia College; Dr. Herman Steeneken, Sr. Scientist at the Dutch National Laboratories-TNO Human Factors Group; D.B. "Don" Keele, Sr. Engineer, Harmon-Motive; and John Murray, Field Training Specialist, TOA.

The workshops are conducted in the field, and this year’s program will explore topics related to quantifying intelligibility in large acoustical spaces. TEF ownership is not required, but attendees should have either a consulting or design/ contracting background and be familiar with the design of sound systems for large room acoustics.
