Shure Incorporated Donates $50,000 to NSCA Education Foundation

Shure has announced the donation of $50,000 to the NSCA Education Foundation (NEF). The sizable donation establishes Shure as a member of the Foundation's prestigious President's Club, and the largest contributor to the NEF to date.

"We are so pleased to be able to help fund the efforts of such a worthy organization as the NEF, " said Sandy LaMantia, President and CEO of Shure Incorporated. "Their dedication to training the next generation of systems contractors is an invaluable service for the entire industry."

The contribution, to be spread over two years, will be used to fund the foundation's four primary objectives: the development of a four-year electronic systems technician apprenticeship course plan; development of a new systems integration training program; enhancement of the NSCA BizSkills training program for new and transitioning systems contractor managers; and the endowment of an annual scholarship planned to begin in 2002.

"I would like to thank Shure Incorporated for their very generous gift to the Education Foundation," said Per Haugen, Executive Director of the NSCA Education Foundation. "Through this contribution, Shure has truly taken a leadership role in advancing our industry through education."
