PRO CO, NEUTRIK Announce Educational Program
PRO CO has announced a new Education Network, with support from NEUTRIK USA.
The free program, open to current and aspiring A/V professionals, kicks off on July 9 in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a diverse, hands-on and highly interactive seminar.
The seminar will begin with a tour of the new Brown & Brown recording studios in Kalamazoo, which employs numerous PRO CO and NEUTRIK products. Fred Besnoff, product application manager for NEUTRIK, as well as PRO CO CEO Charlie Wicks will co-host the tour with studio owner/engineer Kevin Brown, offering detailed information on the studio’s design and product applications.
In addition, John Bruey, monitor engineer for Limp Bizkit, will be on hand to discuss his role and share professional and career-building insights. Later, Curt Pruett, production director of the State Theater in Kalamazoo, will lead a discussion and Q & A session regarding important factors in providing technology and systems for major touring productions. Besides his work at the theater, Pruett is also co-principle of MS Productions, a regional sound reinforcement company.
The seminar begins at noon on July 9, and will extend into the evening. For more information, contact Program Director E. Victor Brown at evict@worldnet.att.net or 616-383-6267.
PRO CO notes that the rollout of the Education Network will be gradual, with announcements soon regarding further seminars to be held at the company’s Kalamazoo facilities.
