Crown Honors Outstanding Performance
Crown Audio recently presented awards to two of its dealers for outstanding performance in 2000. Scott Robbins, Crown Audio vice president of sales, made the announcements. Mars Music, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL, was the recipient of Crown Audio's award for 'National Dealer of the Year'. Robbins comments, "Mars experienced a tremendous growth in Crown product sales last year. But this award isn't strictly about sales figures. Mark Begelman and his team have a passion for growing the market, and not simply trading dollars with their competitors. Also, Mars' commitment to education and finding new ways of retailing is exceptional, so we're very pleased to present them with this award." Crown Audio's award for 'Local Dealer of the Year' went to Sweetwater Sound, Inc. of Fort Wayne, IN. "Like Mars, Sweetwater also enjoyeda very high percentage of growth with Crown last year," says Robbins."Chuck Surack and his crew stock a limited number of lines that theytruly believe in, then focus on providing the best possible sales and support of those products.
