BEC Technologies Acquired By Sensormatic

Effective March 30th, 2001, Sensormatic Electronics Corporation of Boca Raton, FL (NYSE: SRM) acquired the assets of BEC Technologies, Inc. of Orlando, FL, a developer and manufacturer of system integration technology.

All former employees of BEC have all transferred to Sensormatic as full time employees in the Video Systems Division but will remain operating as BEC and in Orlando for the time being, with BEC phone and fax numbers remaining the same.
