Optocore Fiber Networking System
http://www.optocore.com
Optocore’s patented fiber networking system is a low latency, fast “point-to-multipoint” network without any compromises in bandwidth, latency, security and jitter. Users can add channels by simply adding more devices to the network, not creating subsets of the network and adding additional runs of cable or fiber. Its digital delay over the network is 41 microseconds, which includes the matrix and remains constant regardless of the numbers of nodes on the network. The Optocore protocol includes AES/EBU Audio, Video, DMX, MADI, MIDI, and control data such as Ethernet, RS422 and RS485. It is actually possible to have AES and MADI streaming simultaneously because of the system’s capacity.
