The d&b audiotechnik E15X-SUB is a compact, light-weight, high-performance subwoofer employing a long excursion 15-inch neodymium drive in a bass-reflex enclosure, extending the frequency response down to 40 Hz (-5 dB) with an output of up to 130 dB SPL (linear weighting). The cabinet is 4.24 square feet, with a footprint of 3.12 square feet, while weighing 55.1 lbs. A single amplifier channel will power both the E15X-SUB and the E12 (a member of the E Series of loudspeakers) using the built-in passive crossover, extending both low frequency headroom and bandwidth of the system. The E15X-SUB can be actively driven, without intervention, by a single d&b audiotechnik amplifier channel.
