Deeper body design
The HM-2d features a specially designed capsule pedestal that minimizes diffraction effects and effectively dampens body resonances. Most low-cost microphones produce an audible “ping” when you tap them. This extra sound makes its way into your recordings. The HM-2d makes a hollow dead sound when you tap it.
