Carvin Appoints Dreyer To Position Of Acoustic Designer

San Diego, CA (January 2008): Carvin announced the appointment of George Dreyer to the position of Acoustic Designer. With a background steeped in both product design and music performance, Dreyer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position with the company.

In his new capacity, Dreyer will be charged with overseeing all of Carvin’s loudspeaker design initiatives.  Prior to his new position with the company, he served 13 years with Carvin in a variety of related engineering disciplines – most recently as Senior Engineer, where he managed the company’s engineering department. Dreyer has considerable experience with power amplification design, so assuming the responsibilities, as the company’s chief engineer for loudspeaker products is a natural extension of his skill set.

“For well over the past decade,” said Dreyer, “Carvin has been like family for me. I’m delighted and honored to be assuming the responsibilities for the company’s loudspeaker design and I look forward to working with the entire engineering team on our next generation products. Carvin products are used by countless big name musical artists and being part of the team that engineers those products has been extremely gratifying work. I look forward to taking Carvin’s loudspeaker products to the next level.”

“George brings a wealth of experience and a solid track record to his new position,” said Carson Kiesel, President of Carvin Corporation. “His thorough knowledge of how our products are used, coupled with a deep understanding of the considerations that constitute their design, will be invaluable as we respond to new market opportunities. I and the entire company congratulate George and look forward to developing many new exciting sound reinforcement products under his guidance.”
