QSC’s new compact subwoofer serves up monolithic LF energy As its model designation number implies, the new GP212-sw subwoofer from QSC features a pair of dual 12-inch drivers. At only 15 inches tall, the device nonetheless is capable of posting an output reading of 135.4 dB SPL (1m), making it one of the more robust performers in its class.
Designed for ground stacked use, the GP212-sw subwoofer packs an impressive combination of low frequency punch and musical accuracy into a rugged birch ply enclosure built to meet the needs of touring or installed applications. A perfect companion for use with QSC’s WideLine loudspeakers, the subwoofer system is additionally outfitted with threaded inserts to facilitate suspension within permanent installations.

Weighing only 2.2 oz without batteries, the UR1M Transmitter is the most compact bodypack available from Shure. Operating on the premium Shure UHF-R® Wireless platform, the UR1M offers superior wireless audio and an industry-leading tuning range - all in a durable, ultra-compact and lightweight form factor.
The UR1M circuit board is specially treated to greatly enhance the sweat resistance and durability of the device, allowing it to be worn close to the skin. The miniature bodypack is available with a choice of TQG or Lemo-3 connectors and selectable alkaline, lithium primary, or NIMH battery curves for accurate power metering.

PM5D-EX
The Yamaha PM5D-EX live sound and recording system combines a Yamaha PM5D Digital Mixing Console with a DSP5D Expander doubling the I/O and processing capacity of two PM5D consoles but controlled from a single surface. The system features 96 mono and 16 stereo input channels in a very flexible configuration and 96 kHz processing throughout for critical live recording applications. Using LYVE Tracker which is based around a Steinberg Nuendo 3 or Cubase 4 audio engine, the PM5D-EX system is capable of providing a recording solution of up to 192 simultaneous tracks.
