Ron: I had used Bose Modeler and AcoustiCADD as well as a compass and protractor.

JohnC: How much input do you and others working in the contracting world have on the development of EASE?

Ron: We have huge amounts. The program has developed because so many are inputting information of their needs.

Arthur Skudra: What Windows operating systems will be supported by EASE: 98, 2000, ME, XP?

Ron: All of the above.

Bill Ketts: Can you now have layers in EASE 4.0?

Ron: No, we do not have layers, as this is a 3-D model and all items play a role in the calculations.

Moderator: Final question - what further refinements and enhancements do you see in future versions of EASE?

Ron: We are continuously adding new features to EASE. In the future, there will be the ability to do transmissions index work, environmental noise work, vastly improved algorithms for speedy calculations and more. We intend to make EASE the bookshelf system from concept to implementation at some point.

Moderator: Thanks so much, Ron, for sharing your time and expertise for this session. Quite well attended, by the way. Kudos to you and EASE!

Bruce C. Olson: Hey Ron, ya done good!

Ron: Thank you. If anyone is interested in more information, my e-mail address is audio_ron@msn.com.
