The new Switchcraft SC800 instrument direct box converts the outputs of high impedance line level audio devices and musical instruments to low impedance, balanced and isolated mic level signals that can be connected to audio consoles, microphone preamplifiers, effects processors, and other equipment with three-pin XLR inputs.

SC800 Technical Specifications:

All measurements were taken with a 25 Ohm source into a 1 kOhm load measured on XLR output.

Common Mode Rejection
Greater than 100 dB at 60 Hz

Input Impedance
Greater than 150 kOhm at 1 kHz

Output Impedance
Less than 170 Ohm at 1 kHz

Phase Response
Less than 3 degrees at 20 Hz
Less than 1 degree at 1 kHz
Less than 16 degrees at 20 kHz

Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise
Less than .05 percent (At 20 Hz, +4 dBu)
Less than .006 percent (At 1 kHz, +4 dBu)
