SurgeX released at InfoComm 2010 its latest UPS surge eliminator, the SU-1000Li.

The SU-1000Li is a 1000 VA Line Interactive UPS backed with SurgeX Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology to shield computer and AV equipment from damage.

The SU-1000Li includes common mode and normal mode Impedance Tolerant EMI/RFI filtering.

It also provides a web browser-based interface to manage power settings, customize diagnostics, monitor multiple computers and schedule shutdowns and restarts.

The SentryPlus Power Management and Diagnostic Software allows installers to plan a schedule to shutdown, restart and test UPS and control receptacles, as well as customize programmable actions.

Automatic voltage regulation provides a stable AC source during less than optimal power conditions without the constant use of internal batteries.

The 2U rack mount provides fail safe protection from surges, spikes, blackouts and brownouts.

“With the introduction of the SU-1000Li, we are able to give our customers what they have been asking for: a better UPS solution,” said Shannon Townley, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales for SurgeX.

“Our UPS products are more compact than others and combine the benefits of battery backup with the world class surge elimination technology that SurgeX is known for.”

“The first in a series of UPS products SurgeX will deliver in the coming months, the SU-1000Li reinforces SurgeX’s leadership role as a full service provider of power management solutions.”
