Sommer Cable has introduced the HICON HI-J63MA05, a 90-degree angled jack plug connector.

The new HICON HI-J63MA05 offers an anti-twist solid pin with a hard gold-plated contact tip, as well as a sturdy metal housing with scratch-proof coating.

In addition, mechanical reinforcement under the jack pin prevents the pin from coming off with a “jerky” movement).

Lacquered screws and a special moisture-repellent insulation help prevent short circuits in damp conditions.

The HICON HI-J63MA05 is recommended for guitar, floor effects pedals, keyboards and other applications.

It can handle cable diameters from 4.0 to 6.4mm, and is covered by a 5-year warranty.
