New Smaart version 7 test and measurement software from Rational Acoustics has just been made available for online purchase. Users can purchase new licenses, purchase upgrades from Smaart version 4, 5 or 6, and download any pre-ordered product.

Rational Acoustics reminds anyone that is upgrading from a previous version of Smaart to have their previous version license number handy. Smaart v.6 licenses must be registered at http://my.rationalacoustics.com prior to upgrading to v.7.

“Early Adopter” upgrade pricing will apply for all Smaart v.7 purchases made between April 14 and July 15, 2010. 

Early Adopter upgrade pricing:
—Smaart v.6 to v.7 Upgrade: $199 USD
—Smaart v5 to v.7 Upgrade: $350 USD
—Smaart v.4 to v.7 Upgrade: $450 USD

Note: There is no Early Adopter pricing for new licenses of Smaart v.7 - a new license of Smaart v.7 is $895 USD.

Users who prefer to purchase a license offline (either upgrade or new) should contact Rational Acoustics at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or via the phone number on the company website.  International users can purchase licenses directly from their Rational Acoustics distributor.

Hard copy CD packages of Smaart v.7 (new licenses only) will be available for purchase via the Rational Acoustics online web store in approximately two weeks. Users outside of the U.S. should check with their local distributors for availability of CD packages.

Users who purchased a Smaart v.6 license after June 1, 2009 are entitled to a free upgrade to Smaart v.7. To claim the free upgrade, these users should go go to the Smart v.7 purchase page and follow the instructions.

Also, Rational Acoustics is offering a free 30-day demo of Smaart v.7, posted on its web site beginning today (Wednesday, April 14). Note that this demo CANNOT be renewed and cannot be turned into a licensed version of v.7.

Releases with new features and updates for version 7 will continue to be provided by Rational Acoustics on a regular basis following this introduction.  All new releases and updates will be available to Smaart v.7 users through their license accounts at my.rationalacoustics.com.
