At the upcoming 2010 InfoComm show in Las Vegas, Outline North America (Booth C7897) will be unveiling the latest versions of the DVS 8 SP and DVS 10 SP loudspeakers.

Both are self-powered, compact and light-weight systems intended for multi-purpose applications, particularly for live events. All models in the DVS range are also available in non-amplified versions, with on-board passive crossovers.

The DVS 8 SP is equipped with a new 8-inch mid-woofer combined with a compression driver with a 1-inch diaphragm. Specified sound pressure level is 123 dB (peak @ 1 meter).

The DVS 10 SP offers a 10-inch woofer combined with a compression driver with a 1.75-inch diaphragm. Specified sound pressure level is 127.5 dB.

Signal management is handled by 24-bit DSP that provides four (selectable) presets for changing the equalization curve – even during a show – by just pressing a button. Further details of the equalizer’s characteristics can be found at the company website.

The panel of the amplification module (located on the rear) is formed by numerous small aluminum pyramids that ensure a high heat dissipation capacity and contributes to increased reliability.

The shape of the cabinets enables them to be used as stage monitors at two angles (25 or 45 degrees). There are also new user-friendly handles, designed to help weight be perfectly balanced during transport, as well as flying points with M8 metric threads, to facilitate hanging work.
