Kramer Electronics has announced the introduction of the RC-63DL 6-Button Audio/Video and Room Controller with digital volume knob and LCD group labels for multimedia rooms.
This unit was originally designed only for use as part of Kramer’s SummitView system, used to control audio components, video components, and other room facilities such as lights and screens.
The RC-63DL room controller is now being offered as an advanced, standalone, wall-mounted room controller that integrates audio, video, and room control into a centralized system.
The RC-63DL features six configurable buttons with macro capability that can be configured to carry out multiple commands with a single press of a button.
Each button offers multiple layers of functions for alternate behavior, toggle functionality, and much more.
The controller also features a configurable digital volume control adjustment knob with five LEDs, and an internal clock that allows scheduling of recurring tasks such as system shutdown for economic operation.
A variety of ports makes the RC-63DL a powerful and versatile controller. Bi-directional RS-232 controls AV equipment such as projectors, LCD and PDP displays, power amplifiers, switchers and scalers.
Two relay contact closure ports simplify and centralize control of room functions, such as lighting, opening and closing of drapes, screen and projector settings, and much more. Two K-NET connectors connect to other control panels or a central control processor.
The IR output is an additional control port for AV equipment, and its IR learning function learns commands from any IR remotes. Finally, a USB port is available for configuring the RC-63DL via a computer.
The RC-63DL is available in a white 2 gang wall plate, and sells in the United States at a list price of $830.00 per unit. The RC-63DL is currently in stock and available from Kramer Electronics sales companies around the world.
