Fits & Starts Productions is kicking off another great year of hands-on audio training as it rolls out the 2011 edition of the HOW-TO Church Sound Workshop tour.

The nationwide educational tour begins again this week, and is dedicated to training house of worship sound techs and volunteers.

The workshops provide a full 8-hour day of hands-on audio training in a local church or selected audio retailer setting so that workshop attendees do not have to travel costly distances.

All workshops include over 30 hands-on workstations and a full front-of-house live sound system highlighting the latest equipment from a group of exclusive audio manufacturers, including Mackie, Community Professional Loudspeakers, DiGiCo, Yamaha, A&S Case, Acoustics First, Ampeg, Ebtech, Fishman, Tech 21 and Whirlwind.

The workshops feature well-known audio engineer Mike Sokol as lead instructor, and build upon the history of the Fits & Starts Productions audio series, which includes hundreds of seminars and hands-on workshop productions designed to train individuals in the art and operation of sophisticated audio equipment.
