Hosa Technology has announced the appointment of Mayumi Martinez to the newly created position of Executive Vice President.
Martinez’ appointment is intended to prepare the company for the next generation of leadership as founding President Sho Sato transitions to retirement.
Her appointment took effect in December 2010.
In her new position, Martinez will eventually be responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations.
This will include all financial matters, streamlining in-house infrastructure to increase productivity and improve operating efficiencies and, with the support and expertise of the management team, expand Hosa’s product lines and increase sales with the goal of taking the company to the next level.
Martinez is a seasoned financial specialist with an extensive background managing the implementation of conventional mortgage products.
Most recently, she served as Vice President, Product Implementation Manager at Bank of America where she was responsible for coordinating the execution of mortgage loan products within various company-wide areas including Sales, Operations, Compliance, Legal, IT, Fair Lending, Training, Risk Management, and Marketing.
Prior to her position with Bank of America, she worked for Countrywide Home Loans where she served as 1st Vice President, Products and, prior to this position, Assistant Vice President, Community Development Initiatives.
“I’m honored to be joining Hosa Technology,” Martinez states. “I’ve always had a passion for business administration and the opportunity to apply my skills and experience to a highly regarded technology company like Hosa is a dream come true.”
“We have a tremendously capable team here and, with their support and collective effort, I look forward to guiding the organization as we venture into the new decade. I’m excited about the new challenges this position presents and I am very optimistic about the business opportunities ahead.”
Sho Sato, President of Hosa Technology, is equally enthusiastic about Martinez’ appointment. “Martinez brings a wealth of business experience that, I’m confident, will prove invaluable as the company enters a new decade of operations,” said Sato.
“I’m extremely proud of all we’ve accomplished here at Hosa Technology and I genuinely believe Mayumi brings both the business expertise and vision that will enable the company to flourish as we move forward.”
“She’s a true team leader with the unique ability to guide this organization into a new era. I’m absolutely certain Martinez is the right person to oversee this company and I have no doubt she will make numerous significant contributions to its storied history.”
