Gemini Now Shipping New CDJ-650 Professional DJ Media Player

Gemini has announced that it is now shipping announce CDJ-650, a professional DJ media player offering many of the same features as the CDJ-700 in a more modest tabletop footprint.

The CDJ-650 interfaces with CDs, USB sticks and computers, offering command with a 5-inch touch-sensitive jog wheel, programmable Hot Cues, variable Pitch Control, and MIDI capabilities for use as a software controller.

The CDJ-650 also offers a 3.2-inch color TFT display with contrast adjustment and a comprehensive waveform display.

—PC/Mac Audio I/O interface (up to 24-bit/192 kHz)

—Plays MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF formats

—Three programmable Hot Cues for instant track playback points

—BPM functions including Auto (Sync), Manual (Tap), ID3 and BPM Lock

—Variable pitch control with six settings: +/- 4, 8, 16, 24, 50, 100 percent, and Master Tempo control

—Frame accurate search with buttons or jog wheel

—Seamless Loop with Reloop and Loop Adjust

—Anti-shock using RAM buffer memory
