The Central Indiana Section of the Audio Engineering Society will be hosting the First Annual Central Indiana Audio Student Workshop, slated for March 10, 2012 at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in the Music Media Production and Industry studios.
The workshop aims to provide audio students and working professionals within the state the opportunity to meet, hang out, and improve their skills. Held initially on the campus of Ball State University, the goal is to rotate event sites/hosts in the coming years.
Like other regional events, this is modeled like a mini-convention, set up to provide an intimate learning environment where all students get plenty of face time with instructors on a range of audio topics.
Details of the workshop schedule are still being finalized, with an update providing specifics expected in the near future. Several noted audio practitioners have already committed to the event.
