At Integrated Systems Europe 2013 (Stand 7-K190),
AVnu Alliance member companies are demonstrating real-world examples of A/V systems using the ratified Audio Video Bridging (AVB) standards.

Featuring interoperable devices from multiple alliance member companies, the demonstration showcases the prioritization and coexistence of AVB with other network data and services, as well as the alliance’s progress in driving interconnectivity among AVB devices.

The extensive demo illustrates the seamless functionality of AVB infrastructure operating on a truly converged network, and underscores AVB’s superior robustness in protecting critical AV media.

Featuring the first AVnu public demo of professional/broadcast audio and video products, the interoperability presentation includes more than a dozen of the alliance’s 50 member companies.

“Our demo this year is our largest yet at an ISE show, and we aim to ‘make the invisible visible’ by highlighting AVB’s seamless coexistence with other IT traffic while defending critical AV media traffic in even the most aggressive of network storms,” states Lee Minich, AVnu Alliance Marketing Workgroup chairman and president of Lab X Technologies. “We also look forward to showing ISE attendees how AVB supports real-time video as a vital component of the AVB

The detailed interoperability demo is presented daily at 10:00, 13:00, and 16:00. Technical and application presentations from member companies are on the hour each day of the show.

ISE 2013 participating AVnu Alliance member companies, representing a full range of AVB-based audio/visual technologies, include Avid, Axon, Barco, Biamp, Extreme Networks, Harman, Lab X Technologies, Marvell, Riedel, Sennheiser, UMAN, Yamaha, and Waves.
