At the upcoming 2011 InfoComm show in Orlando, Avid (Booth 243) will be showcasing VENUE and Pro Tools live sound workflows, and presenting AVB solutions with other AVnu Alliance members.

The company will host in-booth technology and workflow demonstrations throughout the event, focusing on integrated Pro Tools/VENUE live recording solutions, improving workflows with archiving and Virtual Soundcheck, using TDM plug-ins to bring studio-quality sound to the stage, and configuring MADI integration across multiple systems for total connectivity and redundancy.

Avid will also hold a special presentation on June 15th focused on live sound solutions for consultants and system integrators.

Highlights Include:

VENUE Link and Pro Tools|HD Native with Robert Scovill
Veteran live sound engineer Robert Scovill (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Rush, Def Leppard) will be in the Avid booth, demonstrating how VENUE Link and Pro Tools interoperability bring efficiencies to live sound mixing, recording performances, and Virtual Soundchecks. Scovill will also cover MADI interconnectivity between VENUE Profile and VENUE Mix Rack Systems and Pro Tools|HD Native.

VENUE for Consultants and Systems Integrators
