The entry period recently ended May 28, 2010, and winners will be announced November 15, 2010.

The USA Songwriting Competition is currently the longest-running consecutive-year songwriting competition. Last year’s contest saw 34,900 entries from around the world.

The competition has a proven track record in helping winners achieve recording contracts, publishing contracts and getting their music placed in film and television.

Winning songs have been featured on the syndicated Acoustic Café Radio Show and Sirius XM Radio.

Stated Eddie Phoon, Event Director, USA Songwriting Competition, “It is great to have Audio-Technica sponsoring the USA Songwriting Competition for the past 11 years – they have been one of our longest sponsors. Their microphones are not just world-famous, but world-class, and musicians love seeing A-T as one of the official sponsors.

“A-T has always supported songwriters and musicians, and having them supply their products for the winners is a great prize for any musician. We look forward to continuing our work with A-T in the future as they have truly become a partner to the entire USA Songwriting Competition.”
