American Music And Sound president Lynn Martin has named Evan MacKenzie to lead marketing communications for the distributor’s pro audio and MI brand portfolio.
MacKenzie comes to AM&S with more than decade’s worth of experience in developing targeted marketing campaigns for clients including QSC Audio, JBL Professional, Samick Music, Top Hat Amps, Electronic Arts, Activision, and DIRECTV.
In his new capacity, MacKenzie is overseeing and managing all facets of AM&S marketing communications, including those developed for print and online advertising, public relations, special promotions, trade shows and other industry events.
“Evan’s experience brings a strong level of strategic, original thinking and expertise to the process of branding and promoting everything from entertainment to consumer products to musical instruments and pro audio components,” states Martin. “His experience at discovering new and compelling marketing opportunities and then executing them successfully is a strong addition to the American Music & Sound team.”
