Alcons Audio is bringing the recently introduced LR24 large-format line array to the upcoming InfoComm 2014 show in Las Vegas. In its official U.S. debut, the LR24 will be at the company booth (G11805) as well as presented in a series of off-site demonstrations.
Alcons Audio North American sales manager David Rahn states, “Since its official launch in March in Frankfurt, the LR24 has received extremely positive feedback from top engineers from around the world, after having auditioned and worked with the system, underlining the unique qualities of the system.
“We’re very proud to be able to bring this system, which we call “What You Mix Is What You Get”, now to the USA, an important market for Alcons Audio and the touring industry,” he adds.
The LR24 is loaded with the multiple-patented RBN1402rsr proprietary pro-ribbon transducer that provides flat SPL up to 20 kHz, with very low distortion and a predictable, linear response. The LR24 is part of a complete, application-configurable package; a toolbox of line array modules, a bass array module, cardioid subwoofers, dedicated power and processing platforms, power-, signal- and transport logistics, and high-resolution ARC 3D-simulation software. Another highlight at InfoComm will be the U.S. debut of the new Sentinel 10 kW amplified loudspeaker controller.
